Well, it’s official, Brady Quinn human after all.
A week after his first win as an NFL starter, Quinn reportedly has a fracture in his right index finger, his throwing hand, but will still play this Sunday. You know, for the kids.
Head coach Romeo Crennel went into great detail about the injury.
“This is a small fracture,” Crennel said.
Oh, well, I guess that is all he had to say about that. Quinn is expected to wear a splint on the finger when he isn’t playing or practicing this week, which hopefully won’t turn into a Brady Boot.
The second-year man out of Notre Dame has yet to throw an interception in his first two games as a starter, boasting a quarterback rating of 79.8, ahead of Tom Brady’s 69.15 passer rating in his first two games as starter and just behind Tony Romo’s 80.15. For what it’s worth, all three quarterbacks were 1-1 as starters to begin their respective careers.
