It’s been a fun week in Cleveland. The Browns lost in the closing minutes against the Redskins on Sunday, and tight end Kellen Winslow, previously incapacitated with, well, , announces to the world that the organization was responsible for his recent staph infection.
The club promptly suspended him, general manager Phil Savage went on the radio to voice his displeasure with the whole situation, word then comes out that Winslow wasn’t very nice to a Browns’ PR person, and today, we learn that new evidence emerges that causes the organization to lift the suspension.
Yep, this is an atmosphere conducive to winning football games.
So while we wait for the exciting details to Winslow’s actual affliction (are football-sized testes symptomatic of a staph infection?), there are some calls for the team to cut ties with the former first-round pick.
