There has been a lot of debate about the Cleveland Browns suspending Kellen Winslow for Sunday’s game in Jacksonville (read more about that here). The Sarge has since filed an appeal that will be heard on Tuesday.
Now an interesting piece of information has come out. The Browns are claiming that Winslow verbally abused a public relations official after last week’s loss in Washington.
The story is that Winslow was talking to a reporter in the locker room after the loss when a Browns PR person showed up. Winslow asked that official, director of communications Amy Palcic, to leave so she couldn’t prevent him from speaking his mind in the interview. That interview was the one where he expressed his disappointment in how the organization handled his hospital stay and claimed the team treated him like a “piece of meat”.
