--The Browns froze ticket prices for 2009. They have raised ticket prices twice in six years. They rank 31st in average ticket price.
--No one would argue 2008 was a dismal year for the Browns, but they actually protected the ball better than in 2007 when they finished six games better at 10-6. In 2007 they threw 20 interceptions and lost nine fumbles. Last season they threw 20 interceptions and lost six fumbles.
--If the Browns hold onto their first-round draft choice, fifth overall, they will be picking in the top 10 for the seventh time in 11 years. The only picks not in the top 10 were running back William Green in 2002 (16th), center Jeff Faine in 2003 (21st) and linebacker Kamerion Wimbley in 2006 (13th). They earned the 22nd pick last year, but traded it in 2007 to the Cowboys so they could draft Brady Quinn.
--In 2007 the Browns top three receivers were Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards and Joe Jurevicius with 82, 80 and 50 catches respectively - a total of 212 receptions. In 2008, the top three were Edwards (55), Winslow (43) and Steve Heiden (23) - a total of 121.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I didn't go into it with a lot of expectations because I think if you do go in with bias then it's hard to be as objective as you need to be when you do meet someone for the first time or you do get to see them on the field or on tape." -- Head coach Eric Mangini on why is being diligent analyzing the Browns roster.
