1. Give Ken Dorsey some help
If the Browns think they can put Ken Dorsey on the field for 60 or so plays and expect to compete toe-to-toe with the Titans, they're kidding themselves. Now is the time to empty out the "Flash" package of plays for Josh Cribbs. He doesn't need to play quarterback full time. Just execute the plays he works on every day at practice. Be creative. Be resourceful. Be daring.
2. Give Hank Fraley and the guards some help
Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is a beast. He's playing for a new contract and has the NFL defensive player of the year award in his grasp. Haynesworth is more effective because there is nobody on the Tennessee defensive front that can be handled by one blocker. So it's hard to double- or triple-team Haynesworth because that creates trouble from the other guys. Could be a long day for the Browns blue-collar center.
3. Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside
LenDale White thunders downhill like a cement mixer. Chris Johnson can run inside, but likes to scoot outside and outrun defenders. He had the fastest 40 time at the NFL combine last year. These two Tennessee running backs control games and keep the Titans from asking Kerry Collins to throw 30 times.
4. Battle of the kickers
Tennessee kicker Rob Bironas made the Pro Bowl last year. Phil Dawson is trying to unseat him this year. Bironas is 24 of 27 in field goals with a long of 49 yards. He has scored 104 points. Dawson is 26 of 30 with a long of 56 yards. He has 95 points. This is the last game before players and coaches cast their Pro Bowl ballots. Whichever one has a big game could swing the vote to their side.
